bylaws with footnotes to provide adequate individual institutional
flexibility;

competed for a three year primary care pediatric training grant
which was re-approved for an additional three years with total
funding of one million dollars.

a Pediatric Ethics Committee.

Major
Accomplishments
- Successful
completion of a six month "zero-based" budgeting process
for the School of Medicine which resulted in state funding that
included replacement of a substantial portion of "lost"
VA funding.
- At gubernatorial
request, prepared a planning document for the School of Medicine
with implementation of several portions.
- Directed
the School of Nursing and the School of Medicine through successful
accreditation reviews.
- Successfully
competed for an Area Health Education Center; 6.6 million dollars
over eight years.
